About Jeremy
“...he's a talented songwriter, guitarist, singer and even plays harmonica... the one-man blues machine...”- Bear Bones Beer
"Jeremy's voice is golden...You've got to hear him!"--Susan Beane, Interim Director of Denmark Arts Center
"An exceptional talent." --Jonathon Sarty, Host of the Cold River Radio Show
“...awesome music from Jeremy” — Ryan Vincent, Owner of Saco River Brewing
"[Jeremy plays] great music... [with] delightful entertainment" -- Denise Mcgrath, Owner of The Back Burner Restaurant
Ever since he was 2 years old, Jeremy has had a guitar in hand. He began formal study of the instrument in high school and throughout college, instructed by noted guitarists Wayne Peabody, Keith Crook, Gary Wittner, and Mike Baggetta. Jeremy has had the pleasure to share the stage with many phenomenal musicians over his career, including guitarist John Pizzarelli, the folk-rock band Carbon Leaf, and the Barnes-Gordy-Walsh Trio. To a greater extent, he has had the joy and great privilege to play music with the members of Junco and Lazy River Riders for almost a decade. When he is not performing with Junco or Lazy River Riders, Jeremy works as solo singer/songwriter and music entertainer touring year round throughout New England. Outside of his musical career, he is either in the classroom teaching students or out hiking, fly fishing, canoeing, or camping with is wife and their goldendoodle, Baxter. In his spare time he enjoys tying flies, reading, flannel shirts, and dark roast black coffee. He lives in the White Mountain Region of Western Maine.

--Jeremy Holden Music--
Professional WorkAs a solo act on acoustic instruments, Jeremy recreates and makes new the blues, folk, country, and rock music of the past and present. From formal settings playing acoustic music to small clubs, coffee houses, breweries, theaters, art centers, television, radio, bars, weddings, county fairs, and various eateries, Jeremy gives a performance for all kinds of venues to enjoy. With a catalog of over 200 classic music hits, he provides a great "APRE" mood at venues which encourages patrons to "stay awhile." He uses an excellent sound system and equipment for performances that can fit any venue. All of these attributes give Jeremy a unique sound as a music entertainer that is not to be missed.
Jeremy has had the pleasure to perform all over New England at such venues as Stone Mountain Arts Center, Bath Heritage Festival, The Cold River Radio Show, WHOM Radio Station, Schouler Park 4th of July Concerts, Cranmore Mt. Arts Jubilee, and on WCSH 6's Maine variety television show, 207. |
